Gangsta Grass Hoppin'

With a handful of time fragments slipping through gagamgirl’s hands, she was able to raid a portion of cyberspace and captured several galactic beings through her WiTribe blackhole. Some of them belong a group called Shiny Toy Guns. This Los Angeles-based, four-piece has successfully created a unique fusion of Dance, Electronic, Rock, and Indie sounds. What came as a surprise to me was when I listened to their album, the songs hardly sounded alike - as if it was a compilation or collaboration from 2-3 different bands/artists. I chose to feature this track ‘cause it’s so upbeat that it actually woke me up from my daily commute nap sessions, just in time for me to get down (plus, I can secretly do “the robot” and “pop n’ lock” to this song).
